    Fabulous Fruit Cake I Made

by Sydney, about 4 years ago

I was making a little cake and I thought it looked nice and pretty. I love the picture. I love cooking these kinds of things. We had some nice fresh summer berries in the fridge and I created a summer berry sauce masterpiece!

    Summer fun with water!

While we were at my friend's backyard, I borrowed my Mom's phone and took this photo of my feet in the wading pool. So much fun!

    Handmade gifts with love

by Nappycakes, about 4 years ago

Because stores were closed, my mom and I have been making presents for family and friends who have birthdays in the summer. This photo shows one of the presents we made - it's a succulent plant made from a recycled pop bottle which was a gift to my grandma because she loves plants.

I took this photo biking in harbour park with my friend. I love taking photos of the sunsets in Ladner. I especially like the ducks swimming into the sunset.

    Cat House

by Jill Unsworth, about 4 years ago
Kaitlyn loves building things at home. She made this two level cat house out of a large delivery box, sticks to "make it stable", lots of tape, and wrapping paper. She then thoughtfully filled it with blankets and soft things to make it more comfortable. If Kaitlyn is quiet she is creating something. This week she made doll house furniture out of items from recycling, including coffee cups, and tape. Today she turned her little sister's room into a "fort" with multiple rooms. Kaitlyn wants to have a store one day, "Kaitlyn's Creations".

    Learning to Knit

by Naiya, about 4 years ago

Hi there, my name is Naiya. This photo was taken in my living room in my home in Delta, BC, on September 12th, 2020. At the start of the pandemic, I learned how to knit. Soon I started filling time by knitting “Wiggily Dolls” and a few other items. I taught myself how to knit these in March and here I am working on my 28th doll. I have also started to crochet small animals and knit shawls.
