Dramatic Skies vs Tranquil Water at Deas Island
On my bike ride to Deas Island during a spectacular sunset, I was struck by the juxtaposition of the dramatic fiery sky and the peace and tranquility of the water. I walked to the edge of the dock and took in the view for a few moments. I felt calm looking at the water, but also invigorated by the pure orange lighting up the sky. This scene represents inspiration to me as it brought the realization that passion/drama and serenity/tranquility can co-exist, often creating a magical moment and landscape such as this one.
