We want to hear stories from the people of our communities!
The City of Delta wants to know, “What are your memories about the past and thoughts about the present and future of Chisholm Street and downtown Ladner?”
This Share Your Story theme is connected with the pop-up park located at the site of the old Seven Seas Fish Company on Chisholm Street in Ladner. Jim Heras operated the waterfront business starting in 1975. The site opened as a new pop-up park in the summer of 2022 and features 16 archival images from Chisholm Street and the surrounding area.
We encourage you to share your memories, thoughts or even photographs here, in person at the Delta Archives located inside the Douglas J. Husband Discovery Centre at 4450 Clarence Taylor Crescent, by phone at 604-952-3836 or online on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

Ladner is the home of strong communities, vibrant businesses, and a changing landscape.
Whether you're new to the area or you've seen decades of change, we want to hear your memories about the past and thoughts about the present and future of Chisholm Street and downtown Ladner. Do you recall travelling the Fraser River by boat? How does today's neighbourhood look different? Which neighbourhood landmarks do you remember fondly? What do you see for the future of the waterfront?
We want to hear your stories and see your photos!
