North Delta Transportation Study
The City of Delta is launching a transportation study in North Delta, designed to identify current and future transportation needs and accommodate the community's continued growth. Residents are invited to make their mark on the map before Friday, February 28.
The study will include developing a 10-year road network and identifying opportunities to expand transportation infrastructure—particularly in areas zoned for increased density in Delta’s Official Community Plan. North Delta residents are invited to get involved in this process, helping the City identify areas where improvements are most needed!
The scope of the transportation study will focus on the following key areas:
- Identify opportunities to improve existing intersections and roadways to relieve traffic congestion
- Recommend best practices regarding on-street parking
- Explore where new transit routes and bus stops will be needed to service population growth
- Assess ways to build new road connections that expand vehicle capacity
- Promote active transportation through new road connections
