Recharge Here - Completed Spring 2025

The third project to advance is a plan to upgrade the Elliott Street Wharf. Residents were invited to comment on proposed plans in the spring of 2025 and the results were presented to Council at their meeting on April 14. Delta Council approved moving forward with the installation of a floating kayak docking system, dock ramp upgrades, and Wharfhead reconfiguration to improve parking and support for commercial uses. To balance strong community support for commercial uses at Elliott Street Wharf with concerns about over-commercialization, the Wharf will support kayak rentals, boat tours, food trucks, and commercial fish sales from a vessel.
