Love is at the Heart of Stewardship

This photo shows what is at the core of environmental stewardship: love. Third grade students at Pinewood Elementary care for their environment and picked up the litter around their school yard and the Watershed Park. The students put so much love and care into doing this and thought it would be fitting to draw a heart on the ground and place some of the litter they cleaned up in the center to show how much they love the environment and their commitment to care for it! There is beauty in the ugly.
