Consultation has concluded
The City of Delta invites you to engage in the community consultation process regarding the proposed replacement of the playground in Cory Drive Park.
The City of Delta's Playground Replacement Program annually adjusts playground priorities based on condition assessments and also helps implement/support the latest findings on child development while keeping the safety of all City of Delta playground facilities paramount.
Council has directed that the City Manager report back(External link) to Council regarding the Playground Renewal Program Work proposed for Cory Drive Park and that the Parks, Recreation and Culture Commission have the opportunity to review and discuss the matter at a meeting in September 2021.
With this in mind, this community consultation is intended to provide residents an opportunity to review the proposed Cory Drive Park playground, put forward thoughts and recommendations on the proposal, and also express their desire to retain the existing playground.
Residents can provide feedback in two ways:
Attend an on-site community consultation session adjacent to the Cory Drive Park playground on the following dates and times:
Sunday, September 12, from 11 am to 2 pm
Tuesday, September 14, from 4 pm to 6:30 pm
Saturday, September 18, from 9:30 am to 12 pm
