What else is the City doing to prevent flooding?

    The City maintains a proactive drainage program which includes 529 km of pipes, 32 drainage pump stations, and 592 km of ditches. The City is prepared to mitigate the impacts of climate change through pump station upgrades, storm sewer maintenance and upgrades, agricultural drainage, agricultural irrigation, and implementation of stormwater retention infrastructure.
