• Enhances accessibility around the community for vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians;
• Improves safety with new offset pathway for pedestrian and cyclist, new street lighting, and upgraded bus stops;
• Provides a safe cycling route on both sides of 96 Avenue;
• Encourages active transportation; and,
• Improves drainage and enhances street aesthetics.

Driveway access may be temporarily restricted during construction to facilitate concrete driveway and asphalt works. It is recommended that residents locate alternate parking during these times. At this time a full road closure is not anticipated, however the Contractor might request a road closure during the sanitary sewer works taking place near the railway tracks (winter/spring 2026). During the roadway improvement works, single lane alternating traffic control will be implemented. Please abide all construction signage, temporary ‘No Parking’ restrictions, and traffic control personnel.  

All of the feedback received will be reviewed. Based on the feedback received, the design may be changed to address community concerns.
