The Public Engagement portion has now closed. Project Background Designated as a Neighbourhood Road Improvement Project, the goal of the proposed conceptual design for 3 Avenue Roadway Improvements is to enhance accessibility and safety for all modes of transportation.
Proposed upgrades include:
Protected cycle lanes
New sidewalks
Parking pockets along 3 Avenue east of 65B Street
Grassed boulevards with street trees
New decorative LED street lighting
Crosswalk improvements with pedestrian activated flashing beacons
Bus stop improvements
Roadway re-paving
The planning stage for the 3 Avenue Roadway Improvements and seeking input from residents has now ended. The project is not supported and will be put on hold.
