Project Background
Designated as a Neighbourhood Road Improvement Project, the goal of the proposed conceptual design for 3 Avenue Roadway Improvements is to enhance accessibility and safety for all modes of transportation.

Proposed upgrades include:

  • Protected cycle lanes
  • New sidewalks
  • Parking pockets along 3 Avenue east of 65B Street
  • Grassed boulevards with street trees
  • New decorative LED street lighting
  • Crosswalk improvements with pedestrian activated flashing beacons
  • Bus stop improvements
  • Roadway re-paving

The planning stage for the 3 Avenue Roadway Improvements and seeking input from residents has now ended. The project is not supported and will be put on hold.

    • Any changes you feel are needed to address your concerns

    You may email, send a letter or complete our survey to send feedback to staff for this project. Feedback for the conceptual design for this project will be collected until June 23, 2023.
