114 Street Multi-Use Pathway (83 Avenue to 84 Avenue)

The proposed Multi-Use Pathway along the west side of 114 Street between 83 Avenue and 84 Avenue is part of Delta’s Cycling Infrastructure program. This route has been identified for improvements as it connects to schools and community services in the Social Heart. Road improvements will increase cyclist and pedestrian safety, improve access to school, improve streetlight and street aesthetics. The proposed improvements include a 3.5m wide asphalt multi-use pathway, grassed boulevard, street trees, LED street lightings, pavement markings, and related signage. Please see the presentation drawing for more information.
On March 1, 2023, the City of Delta held a public information meeting. The online consultation has concluded on March 13, 2023. The construction of the project is complete as of November 2023.
This project is co-funded by TransLink as part of their Bicycle Infrastructure Capital Cost Share program.
