The City of Delta, in partnership with the Delta School District, is reconstructing the natural turf infield and installing new trench drain for the infield area at South Delta Secondary School.
The project scope includes:
Replacement of natural turf including field grading
New drainage and irrigation systems
New permanent goal posts for football
New movable combination goals for soccer and rugby

During construction, the area in proximity to the track and field will be closed. Final area to be confirmed. Construction fences willremainin place until new turf is fully established.
Project Cost: $2.1 Million
This project is partially funded through the province of BC’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs - BC Growing Communities Fund.
