The City of Delta is proposing to relocate the Ladner Bike Park to Kensington Park North. The proposed bike park will offer new and improved opportunities for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders, and will add vibrancy to a well-loved community park.

Two concept design options have been developed for the bike park and we want to hear your feedback on the designs. Your feedback will help guide staff’s recommendation for the design and construction of the new bike park.

In-person Information Sessions

Holly Park Pump Track
Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

  • Meet us at the Holly Park Pump Track to learn more about the Ladner Bike Park Project and to give your feedback.
  • Free basic bike tune ups will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Kensington Park North
Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

  • Join us at Kensington Park North to learn more about the Ladner Bike Park Project, see the proposed extent of the bike park and to give your feedback.
  • First 50 participants will receive free ice cream from Cookie's Ice Cream!

Proposed Bike Park Design Concept Options

Concept 1 - Pump track with advanced asphalt jump line:

This design features:

  • An all-asphalt surface
  • A pump track for beginner to intermediate riders
  • A more advanced asphalt jump line around the outside

Benefits: Consistent rideability in all weather, low maintenance, and accessibility for a wide range of wheeled users.

Limitations: Less variability than dirt jumps and a different experience from the current Holly Park bike park.

  • Pump Track Length: 136m
  • Jump Line Length: 83m
  • Total Track Length: 219m

Concept 2 - Pump track with a separate dirt jump area and four levels of difficulty:

This design features:

  • An asphalt pump track for beginners to intermediate riders
  • A separate dirt jump area with four levels of difficulty for beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert riders

Benefits: Greater variety and progression for riders, more riding area.

Limitations: Dirt jumps require more maintenance, are weather-dependent, and less accessible for some wheeled users.
