Boardwalk Relocation Work:
A new off-ramp at the Highway 91 and Nordel Way interchange necessitated the decommissioning of 186 metres of boardwalk and reconstruction of 167 metres of boardwalk along the outer loop in the northwest corner of the Delta Nature Reserve. The alignment of the new boardwalk meandered to avoid significant tree and plant removals within the Delta Nature Reserve, and was determined in conjunction with the Burns Bog Conservation Society.
The boardwalk relocation work was completed at the end of 2020.
