The City is seeking feedback on the future of cemetery services in Delta and on the proposed plans for the Boundary Bay and North Delta cemeteries. In November 2025, residents were invited to share their thoughts on a proposed Cemetery Master Plan which will guide investments in interment and memorial services over the next 25 years.

We received valuable feedback through the online engagement, and in response to interest in further discussion, the engagement period has been extended to January 25, 2026, and additional in-person engagement events are available for residents to ask questions, learn more about the proposed plans, and share their perspectives directly with City staff.

Get Involved!

Two in-person engagement sessions will be held for residents to discuss the project in-person:

  • January 20, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Kennedy Seniors Recreation Centre (North Delta)

  • January 22, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Winskill Fieldhouse (Tsawwassen)

Residents are encouraged to review the project materials and share their feedback online or in person.
