Overview
Beedie's Parkwood Industrial Estates, located at 5224 88 Street, is a master-planned industrial business park that was approved by Delta Council in 2018. As part of this development, Beedie will be delivering the following transportation improvements:

  • New Overpass at 78 Street – Ground improvements, a center pier, and a two-way overpass connecting Ladner Trunk Road to a new connector road.
  • Relocation of Burns Drive – Relocated roadway to enable direct and continuing parallel traffic to Highway 99 for farm and service vehicles.
  • New traffic circles with on-ramps and off-ramps – New traffic circles at 80 Street and at 88 Street to increase safety, traffic flow and access to Highway 99.

The project is currently underway and is expected to be complete by December 2026.

Traffic Impacts

  • Single-lane alternating traffic will be in place along Ladner Trunk Road, Burns Drive, 88 Street, and 80 Street
  • Cyclist access along Burns Drive will be unavailable during the duration of the project
  • Highway 99 Northbound HOV/BOS intermittent closures. These closures will be communicated in advance on DriveBC.
