The existing playground at 89A Avenue Park is at the end of its lifespan. The City of Delta is planning to replace the playground and is seeking your feedback. The purpose of this community engagement is to evaluate the needs of the community for the new playground at 89A Avenue Park. The community has been notified through mail-outs, site signs and social media.
Please take our online survey before Monday, March 4, 2024. When the survey closes, our project team will evaluate the contributions and use this information to guide our playground design.
In Spring 2024 we will come back to the community with another round of community engagement to present the proposed playground design options. Our goal is to install the new playground by Fall 2024.
This playground renewal ensures compliance with the latest playground safety standards. We will ensure the new playground fosters inclusivity by incorporating accessible features, so everyone of all ages and abilities can play.
If you have questions about the project or would like to discuss your thoughts and feedback with us, you can find our contact information on this page.
