The City of Delta wants to hear from you about the proposed 48 Avenue Roadway Improvements between 47A Street and 48B Street. The project aims to enhance accessibility and safety for everyone.
Project Highlights:
Pedestrian Enhancement - Installation of a new concrete sidewalk with a landscaped boulevard along the south side of 48 Avenue, connecting existing sidewalks from 4796A to 4890 48 Avenue.
Curb Extensions - Implementation of curb extensions at the intersection of 48B Street and 48 Avenue, reducing crossing distance and improving visibility for pedestrians.
Pavement and Streetlighting Improvements - New pavement with nominal widening for a parking lane and installation of LED streetlights, enhancing visibility and contributing to a safer environment for all road users.
We would like to invite you to attend a Public Information Meeting for more details and to provide your valuable feedback.
