- Improves cycling connections through Ladner for residents to the civic precinct including Dugald Morrison Park, Ladner Elementary, the Ladner Leisure Centre, Delta Hospital and the Ladner Bus Loop.
- Buffered cycle lanes provide a more comfortable user experience compared to shared cycle facilities.
- Protected cycle facilities encourage the user of alternative modes of transportation (i.e. bikes, e-bikes, scooters, etc.) which can improve health, reduce GHG emissions, and reduce transportation costs
- Construction is proposed for summer/fall of 2022. Based on resident feedback, staff will review and propose changes as needed.
- Residents will receive another letter to notify them of the construction start date and any potential design changes.

What impact will there be during construction?
Driveway accesses will be impacted during the placement of the new paint markings. All residents will be informed of the construction schedule in advance to minimize the inconvenience to residents.
